Cincotta Shipping Agency - handles port calls for all Sardinian ports and dates back since 1946.

This week our new Gat-Ship user Cincotta Shipping Agency came to visit us here in Porsgrunn, Norway. The purpose for the stay was Gat-Ship Super user training. Mr. Vincenzo Cincotta (Preisdent) was able to attend our course for one day, while Mr. Giacomo Sanna (Operations Manager) stayed for the whole course.  

After two and a half day of training, Mr Sanna is now back in Sardinia and preparing his Gat-Ship Port Operations Program. He will start with one port and include new ports one by one for the next weeks and months.

 We are very pleased to welcome Cincotta Shipping Agency to the Gat-Ship family!

GAT-Ship Annual Gathering 2011.

INFORMATION to all GAT-Ship Clients.. 

It is today finally decided that GAT-Ship annual Gatherings will not be held during late fall anymore.

Gatherings will be arranged in April, May or beginning of June every year.

This means that the 2010 Gathering will only be held spring 2011 and also therefore ‘named’

GAT-Ship Annual Gathering 2011.

More information around the subject will be supplied shortly after the coming summer period.

Pleased to inform everybody that we have got two new colleagues in the GAT-Ship Team.

Dag Klovholt will start Monday 1^st of March and Øyvind Bakkebø will start 29^th of March.

Dag Klovolt:

Is 49 years of age. He have been working in Ship Agency business since 1991. Started as boarding officer in Hydro Agency, became later assistant manager. Hydro Agency was sold to Wilhelmsen Group in 2001 and he has held the position as Operations Manager with Wilhelmsen Ships Service AS, Porsgrunn since then.

Øyvind Bakkebø:

He is educated from BI Telemark, Bachelor in Logistics and holds experience from sales and logistics. The last years of experience is within the shipping industry, mainly in the tanker market, where he has been working as a vessel operator, market analyst and Charterer. He is now joining Gatship from Maersk Tankers where he has been working as a Charterer in the spot CPP market for North West Europe and West Africa postitions.
